Can I sell tickets to my event?
Absolutely! Organizers can create events and sell tickets completely stress-free. You are easily able to check in attendees by scanning tickets, view/modify the guest list, create a VIP list, and much more!
To get started and create an event:
- Create your event here. Add the title, description, location, and date of your event.
- Set the ticket price, create ticket tiers, and list how many tickets are available. On Gettie, you have the ability to create multiple ticket tiers (if desired). For example, you can create Early Bird, Regular, and VIP ticket options all at different prices with different quantities available, and even different dates available for purchase!
- Crowdfund or not? We give you the option to either sell tickets normally, or crowdfund your event. What this means is that you can take into consideration of all the costs for setting up your event and how much money you need to make it happen, and then guarantee that the event will only take place if you collect at least that amount. Once the number of ticket sales reaches your minimum number of sales required, then your event is confirmed. If you don’t reach your minimum amount set, then buyers wont be charged for their purchase and the event will be cancelled.
Once guests purchase a ticket to your event, they will receive a confirmation email including a PDF file for their ticket, as well as having their ticket automatically added to their Plans page.
